Webber - an advanced Design System by Johan Ferdian JR
Figma introduced its variable feature in July 2023. As a Principal Product Designer, I began developing the Webber Design System (WDS) in August 2023. Within a year, we've seen a remarkable 84% increase in operational product designer productivity, as measured by 'time to design', while maintaining design consistency and timely task delivery. This improvement is directly attributed to the effective use of Figma's new variable feature. By creating 9 variable collections, we've made it easier for our team of operational designers, product managers, and developers to produce high-quality designs efficiently.
